People say its only in my head. Its gonna take time but I'll forget. They say I need to get on with my life.

I thought I had it beat, I thought I was cured. I had an iron will so I dropped my guard. I gave up, I tried my best, it's time to admit I'm powerless. I may never be free, it's a lifelong recovery.

I'm countin' on the Lord to help me forget. I tried to resist but I'm not strong enough. Little by little I'm facing the facts

The past came back to me and I could'nt help but think of the way things used to be. I can tell that time had changed me.
