has anyone seen one of these up close? I did and they are a lot bigger then they look on tv. The one I saw was over 300lbs.

lol your better off with an iguana, I have one and I told my little nieces( 2 and 5 years old) that it was a baby dragon. when I got him he was 6inchs long and now he is 3 feet long. I need to get a bigger cage for him.

Where did you saw them? They're certainly pretty interesting reptiles. But still I wouldn't want to get too close. Their bite is pretty dangerous it seems.

I saw it at the shedd. The only thing that seperated us was glass so I got to see it really close. I never knew that they where THAT big. Its one thing to see them on tv and to look at pic.s but to see one in person is something totally different.
